Lose Yourself to Dance! We offer 7 styles of dance in Studio C…

Inspired by dance performances at the recent Decatur Book Festival? Well, those were spectacular and now that you’ve seen our fabulous new dance studio, explore our variety of offerings for dance and movement and come back for a workout in this space. Studio C is receiving rave reviews for the light-filled spacious room, the custom-made mirrored tile wall, the acoustics, floor surface and general accessibility (walk 1 block from Marta). Current Fall classes include the following and details can be found in our Fall 2013 playbook online  or in print. Look for it after Labor Day. Team Decatur: Time to Train

Michelle from Decatur Jazzercise kept us moving and smiling!

Yesterday’s Team Decatur and Get Active! Atlanta Kickoff Event was so much fun! We did Jazzercise, Afridancercise, and NIA Dance. There was a lot of information on staying fit and healthy in the Health Expo, and we tried to stay cool after all this exercise by standing by the Fire Department’s Misting Trailer.

Time to Train!
So, now it is time to start training for the Kaiser Permanente Corporate 5K in September. A few of us began this morning wtih a brisk walk around Decatur beginning at Beacon Hill Center.  Join us for one or all of the FREE walk or run training sessions: visit www.decaturga.com/teamdecatur for the training schedule.

Mayor Bill Floyd and Jeff Galloway welcomed attendees and talked about the importance of staying fit and healthy.

Register for Team Decatur!
If you haven’t already done so, be sure to register for the KP Corporate Run/walk 5k. Be sure to select Team Decatur from the drop down list. Click here to register.

Afridancercise was lots of fun! You can take classes at Beacon Hill on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Attendees learned NIA Dance from the ladies at Decatur Healing Arts.
