Douglas Brake and the Sizzle Hiss Pop Band to Play at Pep Rally

Douglas Brake and the Sizzle Hiss Pop Band will play at the Walk & Roll to School Pep rally next Tuesday! You may have heard this great band at the Beach Party in June or one of the Blue Sky Concerts in May. They play original “children” themed music and are a lot of fun for both children and adults.

The Pep Rally will be held on the Old Courthouse Square from 5:30 until 7pm on Tuesday, October 5th and will prepare everyone for International Walk to School Day on Wednesday. City of Decatur elementary schools will all participate so look out for hundreds of children walking and riding their bikes to school.

In addition to the musical entertainment, there will be drawings for prizes, and feature local “celebrities” including our great Crossing Guards, Stephanie Stuckey and members of the Decatur City Commission.
