Decatur Active Living Prepares for International Walk to School Day- Wednesday, Oct. 6

In preparation for International Walk to School Day Decatur Active Living collaborates with City Schools of Decatur to encourage students and parents to walk or bike to school.   Cheryl Burnette, Interim Assistant Director has held monthly meetings with SRTS representatives to prepare for the bike training at Glennwood Academy and  International Walk to School Day.  Look for the Walk or Roll to School Posters around Decatur.  Mark your calendar for the upcoming SRTS activities:

October 5        International Walk to School Pep Rally      5:30-7pm on the square

October 6        International Walk to School Day in the City of Decatur.
