Youth Basketball Grows At Decatur Rec

Not all kids want to sit home and play video games.  Stop by Decatur Recreation Center and you will see kids in the gym, in the halls, in the lobby waiting for their basketball practice.  Not only are these kids on time for practice but they often come early and stay late, just in case there is a little extra time to shoot around.  We are HAPPY and EXCITED to see kids being ACTIVE.

This season Decatur Active Living has over 40 teams this year.

Mini basketball went from 6 teams to 10 teams.

7-8 division basketball went from 6 teams to 8 teams

9-10 division basketball went from 6 teams to 8 teams

11-12 division basketball went from 6 teams to 7 teams

13-14 division basketball went from 4 teams to 5 teams
