“Be Active” This Weekend

There are lots of opportunities to be active this weekend in Decatur and nearby.

Saturday is National Kids to Park Day, and the City of Decatur is taking the opportunity to have the “Official Dedication” of Glenlake Park at 11am at the Glenlake  Tennis Center. Mayor Floyd will join City Commissioners to dedicate the park, and then we will take a walk on the walking trail and share some cookies and punch. Plan to stay and play at the park with FREE Active Living flying discs. Pledge today to visit a park!

The 2.5 mile bike ride begins at Harmony Park and ends at Little Shop of Stories on the Square. For more information click here. You may want to ride over the Glenlake Park after the ride and play!
