A Very Nice Thank You

From Mary Newton, who worked with Decatur Active Living and Children and Youth Services this summer to bring the CATCH Healthy Habits Program to our city:

“Thank you” is one of the most important expressions in the world; however, sometimes, it does not always adequately convey the deep appreciation we really feel.  I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us launch the CATCH Healthy Habits Program.  The volunteers and the children had a blast and most of all, learned a little something that they can use in their day-to-day lives for the rest of their lives.  Who could ask for more than that? 

None of this would have been possible without your cooperation and support.  I look forward to working with you this fall as we expand the program.  Have and great weekend and God bless you always!

The CATCH Program paired Senior Citizen volunteers with youth through the summer camp program to teach healthy eating and exercise. Both groups benefit from the collaboration.
