Active Living in Decatur

Decatur Active Living had an activity and fun filled weekend!

Friday morning started off with our annual Bike To Work Breakfast in front of the Decatur Recreation Center. Lots of bike commuters stopped by for treats, information on cycling in Decatur and information from the Georgia Commute Options folks and the ladies from the East Decatur Greenway.

Saturday was filled with the Dedication of the Beacon Municipal Complex. We had visitors from all over the country as well as current Decaturites. There were even some of the past students from Herring Street School and Trinity High School. Visitors enjoyed “splits” as well as tours of the three buildings.
