It’s Crossing Guard Appreciation Week!

November 16 – 20 is  Crossing Guard Appreciation Week where we recognize those who help our children get to school safely.

The City of Decatur has 30 crossing guards spread throughout the city. They are out in all types of weather- rain, sleet, and even some snow! Let them know how much you appreciate them by smiling, giving them a heartfelt thanks, encouraging your children to make them thank- you cards and/or any other ideas that you may have.
