International Car Free Day is September 22
On Friday, September 22, the City of Decatur will join with people across the globe to participate in World Car Free Day – a time for community members to come together to explore the benefits of walking, biking, using public transit and carpooling to get us where we need to go.
Celebrate with us on the Old Courthouse Square from 11 am until 1 pm. Learn about alternative modes of transportation from GA Commute Options, MARTA, the Lifelong Community Board, Emory Cliff Shuttle, Active Living and more.
Receive a special Car Free Day sticker and a light for walking at night just for stopping by.
Take the Car Free Pledge!
Pledge to go Car Free. All participants who pledge no later than midnight on Thursday, September 21 will be entered into a drawing for two Decatur Wine Festival Tickets, compliments of the Decatur Arts Alliance. Winner will be announced on September 22.
