“Bright at Night” Halloween Walk is Thursday, October 22

Want to have fun, get exercise and see some cool Halloween decor around Decatur neighborhoods? Then you will certainly want to join the October Fourth Thursday “Bright at Night” walk. The walk begins at the Decatur Recreation Center at 7:30 pm. This month you will walk approximately three miles around Decatur and receive a fun light to wear. You are also invited to wear a costume or something fun! Sparkly and reflective wear is encouraged. Yes, it is all about the FUN!

Members of the Active Living Pedestrian Advisory Committee will lead the walk.

When: Thursday, October 22, 7:30 pm

Where: Meet at Decatur Recreation Center, 231 Sycamore Street

Why: Exercise, fun and getting to know some new folks

Decatur Presents the 5th Annual “House of Horrors!”

It’s that time of year again- prepare to be scared! Decatur Active Living presents the “House of Horrors 5” on Saturday, October 26 from 7:30 until 10:30 pm at the Decatur Recreation Center. Admission is $2.00.

As this is a family oriented event, we ask that all children 11 and under be accompanied by an adult.
