Peach Jam at the Decatur Farmer’s Market is June 25th

Come to the Decatur Farmers Markets next week for the 4^th Annual Peach Jam – a celebration of Georgia’s favorite fruit! Amateurs and professionals are submitting their unique peach recipes for crowd judging!!!

 Wednesday, June 25, 4PM-7PM. Front Lawn of Decatur First Baptist Church.

Help pick the 2014 Peach BBQ Sauce Competition winner! For a donation of $7 you’ll get a plate of Burnt Fork BBQ, some grilled veggie sides, unlimited peach BBQ sauce samples and a spoon to vote for your favorite! Special surprise: Peach iced tea and sliders from Revolution Doughnuts!

Saturday, June 28, 9AM-1PM. Downtown Decatur, Corner Trinity and N. McDonough.

Help pick the 2014 Peach Jam and Jelly Competition winner! For a donation of $6 you’ll enjoy two fresh, baked-from-scratch biscuits from Decatur’s new Ratio Bakeshop, unlimited peach jam samples and a spoon to vote for your favorite! If biscuits and jam are not your thing, what about Terrapin Beer’s Farmhouse Peach Beer available for $4 a glass!

And, as always, shop for your fresh, local farm-grown produce and ready to eat foods at the Decatur Farmers Market.
