Preschoolers Fill the Rec Center During Book Festival

The Friday before the Decatur Book Festival is a special day for children in Decatur – field trip day! Children gather on the MARTA Plaza for author readings and other book programing. Over at the Decatur Recreation Center the Active Living Department is happy to host another part of the festival – Preschool Field Trips. United Way’s DeKalb Partners for Early Learning is the great sponsor of this day and the gym was filled with children from the College Heights Early Learning Childhood Center as well as other preschools from around the city.
