First Christian Church Begins Conversation about Church Gym

On Wednesday, August 18 several First Chrisitian Church members, Decatur residents and Active Living staff met to have a brainstorming session about the direction of the gym and land use.  The Rev. Dr. James Brewer-Calvert, Senior Pastor, led the discussion.  Ideas that came out of the session- gym space, meeting place, place for seniors, place to host mission groups, playgroups, home school use, elementary school uses, exercise space, classes and many more great ideas.
