Decatur Recreation Center receives the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Georgia Design Award

Decatur Active Living is thrilled to announce that LP3 Archeitecture, a collaboration between Praxix 3 & Amy Landesberg Architects, is the recipient of the AIA (American Institute of Architects) Honor Award. The Decatur Recreation Center received one of only two Honor Awards given- the  highest achievement possible. The Decatur Recreation Center is LEED Silver.  The Decatur Recreation Center was originally constructed in 1958 and houses a diverse group of recreatioanal, civic and art programs for the City of Decatur.  Please stop by and visit this treasure in the Decatur community.  Congratulations to our designers, contractors, city staff and the City of Decatur.
