Two FREE Bicycle Events in Decatur This Weekend

There are two cyclist opportunities this weekend in Decatur.

On Saturday Decatur Active Living has partnered with Cycles And Change to offer a workshop for cyclists from noon until 1 pm. The workshop is designed to give the cyclist quick and easy strategies to prevent injuries and to improve performance, recovery and mobility. It is presented by Michael Guthrie, former therapist for a Hong Kong Physical Therapy Clinic. The session is free, but please register at http://cyclesandchange.org/programs/class-registration.

The second annual Vintage and Tweed Ride is on Saturday – check in is at 1:30pm at SQ/FT on the Decatur Square and the ride begins at 2 pm. Sponsored by Houndstooth Road, the ride will be a 5-6 mile scenic route through Decatur neighborhoods and everyone will be dressed leisurely, tweedy, and stylish. Click here for more information.
