Cycling Class at Decatur Recreation: Traffic Skills 101

Join League Cycling Instructor Neil Walker for this great class that will teach you emergency maneuvers, derailleur adjustments and more. The class will be held on Saturday, August 24 from 10 am until 4 pm.

Traffic Skills 101 (TS101) gives cyclists the confidence they need to ride safely and legally in traffic or on the trail. Through TS101, students learn how to conduct bicycle safety checks, fix a flat, on-bike skills and crash avoidance techniques. We recommend this class for adults and children about age 14. The curriculum is fast paced, six hours and prepares cyclists for a full understanding of vehicular cycling.  Classes are held at Decatur Recreation Center.
