The best place to stay cool this summer is at one of the three City of Decatur pools. You may want to get a pool pass to enjoy the pools throughout the summer.
Pool passes are available at Glenlake Tennis Center located behind Glenlake Pool and at Decatur Recreation Center; prices vary depending on whether you are a City of Decatur Resident or Non-Resident and also depending on which type of pass you select; Individual or Household. Fees and other information can be found here. Residents must bring proof of residency in the form of a tax bill or utility bill.
Enjoy the newly renovated Ebster Pool, home of the Decatur Gators Swim Team. It now has eight lanes, a new splash pad, and a renovated pool house. Great pool for swimming laps, or just enjoying the sunshine and cool water. Ebster Pool is located behind the new Decatur Police Station.
Glenlake Pool is Decatur’s largest pool and most active. It has a new PVC liner and new pump room equipment. This pool offers a snack area, patio for enjoying the sun, shade shelter and shallow water for the younger children. Located at 1121 Church Street, it is one block north of Commerce Drive.
McKoy Pool is a popular pool for young families. The pool has a zero-depth entry making is easier for elderly guests and those with disabilities to use and features dedicated lap lanes for adult swimming. Located at McKoy Park in Oakhurst, 534 McKoy Street.
