We Would Like Your Opinion!

Decatur Active Living would like your opinion on an Adult Academy that we have plans to pilot in Spring of 2011. The Adult Academy will be based on the Decatur 101 format. We have some ideas and would like to see where the interest lies. We would also welcome any ideas for sessions that you may have. Please click here to answer a few short questions.
Your survey only allowed me to make a single response. So, in addition to The Great Books, how about bird watching excursions? The Decatur Cemetery would be a good place to start. A fellow named Jerry Brunner used to do this at Evening at Emory.
How about guided history walks through Decatur? That would be interesting to me. Or an architectural tour of Decatur.
Your idea about a Decatur restaurant tour was OK, but how about a Buford Highway restaurant exploration? Maybe John Kessler would advise.
Guided pub crawl? Seriously.
Dance lessons on the plaza? That would be a blast. Maybe Several Dancers Core would help.
What else? I’d love to join a series of tours that would include, say, the Agnes Scott campus, the campus of the Theological College, the Old Courthouse, the cemetery, City Hall’s art collection and Ryan Gainey’s garden–off the top of my head.
A photography group? Lectures and excursions.
If you need more ideas, you know how to reach me.
