Walk with a Doc – Saturday, August 12th at 10am

Join us tomorrow, August 12th at 10am for Walk with a Doc. Dr. Melissa Black from Empower Family Medicine will be the visiting doctor.

Dr. Black holds board certification in both family and geriatric medicine. She has over ten years experience in caring for older adults in the community, assisted living and nursing home settings.  Aspects of geriatric care included in our services include the evaluation of:

• Memory
• Gait and musculoskeletal system
• Polypharmacy, Avoiding over-medication
• Fall prevention
• Continence
• End of life care
