Walk Fit Decatur! with Lt. Jennifer Ross from Decatur Police Department

Join us on Saturday, January 13th at 10 AM for Walk Fit Decatur! We’ll meet in front of Decatur Recreation Center (231 Sycamore Street) and walk 3 miles. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle.

 Lt. Ross is a 21 year veteran of the Decatur Police Department. She has worked as a Communications Officer, Patrol Officer, Business District Officer and Criminal Investigator. She currently serves as the Community Information & Education Officer where she manages community educational programs such as the Citizen’s Police Academy, Junior Police Academy and R.A.D. Women’s Self-Defense. She also manages social media platforms and handles media inquiries for the police department. Additionally, Lt. Ross is a police instructor and teaches recruits at Georgia Piedmont Technical College Law Enforcement Academy and Crisis Intervention Team training to certified officers.
