Youth Lacrosse Registration Opens January 16

Decatur Active Living is excited to bring back Youth Lacrosse for Boys in grades 5 – 8 and Girls in grades 6 – 8. Practice begins on Saturday, January 30, and the league runs from February 20 until May 15.
Please note that we have a new software program that will require everyone to create a new household profile.
ALL families will need to set up a NEW Family Account in CommunityPass – the City’s new registration software. You can do this by following the prompts at https://register.communitypass.net/cityofdecatur
COMPLETE both the Information and Release Form and the Health History Form for each participant.
If you are not going to play lacrosse, but will play other sports feel free to create your household in advance.

That’s why we are hosting free Hawks at Home LIVE basketball workout sessions. The 45-minute workout, hosted on ZOOM, will focus on basketball skills and drills and will feature a Q&A session with a Hawks Basketball Academy instructor to close out the session.

Athletics Offers Conditioning Videos: For Youth By Youth

We know the community misses the youth sports programs that Decatur Active Living offers during “normal” times. However, just because there are no youth sports doesn’t mean that you can’t practice drills, enhance your skills or engage in body and mind conditioning.
The Athletic staff will be posting a series of videos on the webpage to assist you with staying active and keeping your athletic skills sharp. Here is our first one:
