It’s not too late to register for the 6th Annual A Dancer’s Heart 5k, part of the Team Decatur Grand Prix Series. Participate in 4 of the races and you will receive a medal and a special Team Decatur shirt at a special awards night in January of 2018.
The race takes place on Saturday, June 10 and begins at Oakhurst Elementary School in Oakhurst. For more information and to register, click here.

Registration is open for A Dancer’s Heart 5k to be held on June 13. The race proceeds go to the Decatur Education Foundation, the Imani Thompson Twine Memorial Scholarship Fund and more. The race is a qualifying event for the Team Decatur Grand Slam Fitness Challenge.

A Dancer’s Heart Inc. invites the community to run, walk or dance to help inspire excellence and success in the lives of young women. A Dancer’s Heart was established to honor the life of Imani Thompson Twine, a member of the Decatur High School Class of 2011, who passed away from a heart infection in 2010.
The 5k run/walk will be held on Saturday, June 30 at 8 am. A Flash Mob Dance will be held at 8:30am. The race begins and ends at Decatur High School.
Proceeds go to the Decatur Education Foundation leadership and life skills programs for girls and young women, and to help raise awareness of the importance of emergency medical planning for children. For more information and to register click here.
