Here is the line up for our Magical Mornings Winter/Spring 2015 events. Our first event will be next Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Please join us along with Betty Ann Wylie and her Mother Goose storytelling. The show starts at 11am. Children pay $2, parents and teachers are admitted free. Come out and join us for all our Magical Mornings events this Winter/Spring at Decatur Recreation Center.

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra at Magical Mornings

On February 2 the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra visited Decatur Rec and played for the Magical Mornings program. The program aims to expand the minds of pre-school children through music and other performing arts. Hundreds of children and their parents enjoyed the sounds of the Symphony and enjoyed watching the dancers as well.
The next Magical Mornings programming will be on March 8 when Decatur Active Living presents Lee Bryan, puppeteer. For more information call 404-377-0494.

Pre-school Children Enjoy the Magical Mornings Entertainment
On January 19th, the Decatur Active Living Department was happy to have musician Scott Douglas as the featured artist at the Magical Mornings Program. The program offers storytelling and entertainment to expand the minds of pre-school children. Mr. Douglas entertained the children and their parents with Music From Around the World. Attendees also had the opportunity to make music themselves with a variety of instruments.
