McKoy Pool is closed today – Tuesday, June 28 – for maintenance. McKoy Pool will reopen tomorrow at 10:00am.

In order to address excessive metals in the water, McKoy pool will be drained and refilled. This process will take 2-3 days. We are slated to reopen this Saturday, June 18 but be sure to check back for updates.

Decatur residents Glenlake Pool will be closed on Thursday, May 31 and Friday, June 1 for repairs on the filtering system (removing the old sand and adding new sand to the filter). In the interim please visit the two City of Decatur pools at McKoy or Ebster. Glenlake Pool will reopen on Saturday, June 2 from 10am-6pm. Staying Cool At McKoy Pool
Watching the children and their parents playing today at McKoy Pool made me long for the days when my boys were small and we played at Glenlake Pool. Today’s weather made today a great day to visit one of our three city pools.
McKoy Pool is the perfect pool for those with small children who want to play in the water.

Good news- McKoy Pool is open today (Saturday). enjoy staying cool. Come early and watch the Baseball Opening Day Parade which begins at McKoy and winds its way to Oakhurst Park.

Plumbing problems again today – McKoy Pool is closed, with hopes of opening later today. There is a pipe that needs to be repaired and we are working on it to get repairs done as quickly as possible. Please enjoy Glenlake Pool and Ebster Pool to stay cool.
