The Summer Camp issue of the Playbook is available online and should be arriving at your home very soon. Summer Camp registration opens on Saturday, March 5 at 9 a.m. online and from 9 a.m. until noon at Decatur Recreation Center.
You do not have to come in person to register!! Enjoy your morning with coffee, your bunny slippers and your computer to register via WebTrac.You can find an online copy of the lastest Playbook with all the camp descriptions and registration numbers here.
New to City of Decatur Camps? Simply stop by the Recreation Center before registration day to get your household ID number and password. Paperwork must be completed in advance of registration day in order to allow online registration.

During the summer, most children enjoy staying at home relaxing & playing games but Decatur children are above average. During the summer, Decatur Active Living and Children and Youth Services divisions offers Summer Day Camps from June 9th – July 18th for kids 4- 18. The summer camps are offered at various locations in the City Of Decatur such as the Decatur Recreational Center, Glenlake & McKoy Park. The children swim, play tennis, utilize the playground & do many other indoor and outdoor activities. These camps provide outlets for health and wellness for all children who participate. The Spring Playbook is now available! The Spring Playbook has all the information about the Summer Camp programs available this summer through Decatur Children and Youth Services and Active Living.
Summer Camp Registration will take place on Saturday, March 17th from 9 am until 1 pm at Beacon Hill Center. Beacon Hill is located at 430 West Trinity Place. Parking is limited, so please consider walking or biking. The DeKalb County Parking deck, at the corner of Trinity and Commerce Drive is free on the weekends, and just a short block away. You may also register via WebTrac.
