Third Friday Bike Ride: Halloween Edition!

Join Decatur Active Living for the Halloween edition of the Third Friday Bike Ride on Friday, October 18.

Dress up and/or decorate your bike and ride 6 miles around Decatur neighborhoods. Meet at the Decatur Recreation Center. Come at 6 pm and meet the folks from Mountain High Outfitters in Decatur. They will have water, snacks, coupons and more!

Be ready to put wheels down at 6:30 pm. This ride is not recommended for small children as we ride at and adult pace.

After the ride we will visit a local restaurant for refreshments and camaraderie.

Bring your water bottle, bike lights, and be sure to wear your helmet.

Halloween Themed Third Friday Bike Ride: October 20 at 6:30 p.m.

IMG_0999Join  Decatur Active Living for the October Halloween themed Third Friday FUN Bike Ride on October 20. Ride through Decatur neighborhoods and view Halloween decorations. You are encouraged to wear costumes and/or decorate your bike for the occasion. Greg White is this month’s ride leader!

The ride is approximately 6 miles at a slow pace. This is a no-drop ride. Helmets and lights are required. 

Meet in front of the Decatur Recreation Center and be ready to ride at 6:30 p.m.

Third Friday Fun bike Ride-Halloween Version!

DSCN9709Join Decatur Active Living on Friday, October 16 for the last Third Friday Bike Ride of the year!

We will ride approximately 5 miles at a  leisurely pace through Decatur neighborhoods enjoying the early Halloween decor. The ride is no-drop: no one will be left  behind! After the ride we will stop for refreshments at a Decatur watering hole.

Meet in front of the Decatur Recreation Center and be ready to ride at 6:30 pm. Helmets and lights are required. Halloween decor or costumes are optional.
